 Lynn Canyon Suspension Bridge, North Vancouver Located close to Vancouver, Lynn Canyon Park is a great place to hang out, swim, and expose kids to nature through its extensive hiking trails passing through red cedar, douglas-fir, cottonwood, and western hemlock trees. Besides it has a neat suspension bridge.

Could not post over the past few weeks due to a busy schedule. Have to see how it goes for 2014. Nevertheless, wanted to kick off this year with a twilight picture from one of my go to places in the Bay area for some calming influence - Pigeon Point Lighthouse 
Being out on the Pacific ocean front on a chilly windy morning has its own rewards. 
Many butterflies can taste with their feet to find out whether the leaf they sit on is good to lay eggs on. With an average lifespan of just about a month, sometimes much less, I guess life can get pretty busy:-)
