Sights and Sounds of Borla Uttam Co-op Society

This film was an afterthought. I was in Uttam since mid-Jan 2024 for family reasons, and towards March 2024 captured images and videos of Uttam for my own memory. As I was reviewing the footage captured, I realized that it makes for good story telling of a place where so many residents have some of their fondest memories and friendships.
This is an ongoing story across Mumbai where the older (~50+ years) buildings and Housing Societies make way for newer taller structures with significantly higher number of residents living in more compact spaces.
A special characteristic of Borla Uttam was its wide open spaces flush with greenery where birds felt at home.
This film attempts to capture this essence as a backstory to the many personal stories that residents and ex-residents of Borla Uttam can relate back to in their lives.
