Cloudy skies over the Las Vegas Strip

The Strip (a 4 mile stretch of Las Vegas Boulevard), in Las Vegas city showcases human hubris at its best. 

As I looked back at a sunset picture I took of the Strip, I wanted to give the evening sky an emotional touch to showcase the strained relationship that I felt nature shares with this city.

I converted the picture to a black & white image and did some tone mapping to get that feeling.

Looking it later, this picture reminded me of scenes from the 2005 Frank Miller / Robert Rodriguez movie 'Sin City'.
